Building a Decentralized Health and Human Services Data Analytics Platform

The National Table of Research Directors (Data Access Initiative) invites you to its 4th Symposium focused on implementing a Decentralized Health and Human Services Data Analytics Platform based on the expertise and methodologies deployed in the CODA-19 project.

The CODA-19 project, Collaborative Data Analysis to Improve Clinical Care in Patients with COVID-19, mobilizes 10 healthcare institutions (9 in Quebec and one in Ontario) to develop a collaborative data analysis infrastructure. It allows for decentralized analysis of data related to COVID-19, while minimizing the exchange of individual patient data. Its main objectives: to develop predictive models to identify patients at high risk of COVID-19 before they are diagnosed, to characterize the trajectories of patients with different manifestations of the disease, to identify patients at high risk of clinical deterioration, and to make predictions to optimize hospital resource planning.

The symposium will present the contributions of institutions to the CODA-19 project and explore new avenues for building a decentralized health and social services data analysis platform across Quebec. Researchers, managers and experts will present the infrastructures and skills developed, as well as the main challenges raised by these promising initiatives for research and the improvement of patient care and services.
