Report on transversal issues related to the deployment and use of AI in the Quebec professional system

As part of a mandate granted by the Conseil interprofessionnel du Québec (CIQ) to the International Observatory on the Societal Impacts of AI and Digital Technology (OBVIA), a research team has produced a report to identify the transversal issues at stake in the deployment and use of AI within the Quebec professional system.

Jacqueline Corbett, professor at the Faculté des sciences de l’administration at Université Laval and co-head of OBVIA’s Industry 4.0, Work and Employment research theme, and Chris Emmanuel Tchatchouang Wanko, a master’s student in administrative sciences at Université Laval, led the research, supported by a committee of experts who contributed to the direction and reflections of this report, including discussions on the issues and possible solutions, as well as individual interviews.
